The adaptation period

The children will be introduced to a new environment with children and adults unknown to him, they will therefore require time to adapt to the new routine. In order to ensure the child settles into the new place smoothly we have a reception time for them; this is what we call the adjustment period.
This period is very important in order for referent to get to know the child and his family.
During this period, the referent will take time to-
To get to know the child and introduce him to the new environment
To discover the child’s daily rhythm and habits
To listen to the parents and guardians and will be available to meet the required expectations
Start building trust
The adaptation period lasts 1 week but can be adapted to suit the child’s needs
